Our Vision & Mission

The Oil Refineries in Kuwait, which currently process nearly 300,000 barrels of Oil per day have already moved forward in committing to increase the processing to 800,000 barrels per day. In addition to the above, Kuwait Oil Company is also contemplating to build a new Oil Refinery which aims to be the largest in the Middle East. The Refinery has a strategic goal of supplying low sulfur fuel (less than 1% compared to current 4% sulfur fuel) to the local power plants. This will significantly reduce pollutant emissions and in that sense it constitutes a special importance to the environment.

Kuwait's current production capacity is 3.3 million bpd and is intended to hit 3.5 million bpd by 2015.The new projects will achieve Kuwait's strategic target of raising its crude oil production to 4.0 million barrels per day (bpd) by 2020.

Considering these ambitious development efforts, we foresee tremendous business potential in the Oil & Gas Sector for the next 2 decades. Our objective and mission is to significantly contribute in the development activities of the State of Kuwait.
